Moving forward with data
Over the last few months, we’ve really been having a development focus on strengthening purchasing and data in Prima Cloud, as we see customers evolving their business models to hold more stock lines, whilst also looking to diversify the product range into PPE or tech, for example.
These changes in dealer behaviour, combined with our solution has led to the launch of the Marketplace By Prima platform!
It’s for the Prima community
Prima Marketplace is the hub for the both Prima users and supplier partners to connect, open accounts and request data files for the back office.
Suppliers listed on Marketplace have data files available to be imported into your Prima Cloud system. All suppliers are indexed by product category and we have their contact details should you get in touch with regards to opening an account.
We’ve also put some helpful information on the site to show what type of data is available e.g. FusionPlus or a basic listing, what type of ordering(EDI or manual) is available etc.
As of the next Prima Cloud update, Marketplace is easily accessible directly within Prima Cloud.
Suppliers
As a Marketplace supplier, there is an opportunity to connect with the entire Prima customer base. With a growing, diverse product portfolio of £100million+ worth of sales put through our customer databases, there is a massive opportunity.
Suppliers must commit to providing a consistent data feed of an agreed standard, to ensure Prima users are seeing quality data throughout the system and potentially the PrimaGO store.
Prima works with each new Marketplace Supplier to create a marketing piece that is communicated to the entire customer base, to give maximum exposure when launching. There will soon be promotional opportunities through Marketplace for suppliers to post.
Prima-Prima EDI is an exciting opportunity for our user community, an ordering option which enables Prima customers to trade directly from the customers’ Prima system into the suppliers’ Prima system.
I’m really excited by possibilities for Marketplace over the coming months, if you have some feedback or suggestions, please click the button below to contact the team!
