Prima kick start UGM series with a successful Bristol session

Friday 19th May saw us kick start this year’s UGM (User Group Meeting) series with a well attended session in Bristol, covering all things training, support, new features, new products and an all important Q&A session to finish off the day.
We regularly hold these free sessions across the UK & Ireland in order to keep in touch with our customers, listen to their ideas and tell them about the exciting new developments that are in the pipe line (most of which are actually requested by our users themselves).
One of the many aims of these sessions is to provide the opportunity for our users to take full advantage of product training, ultimately maximising their potential, efficiency and productivity while using Prima to control their business.
Prima’s Head of Customer Services, Steve Dennis recently released a blog with the core focus of training and why training is crucial to our users.
Steve said: “Prima’s SaaS (Software as a Service) model dictates that product updates will come thick and fast to our users, but it does not guarantee the user will see value from the updates and improve productivity. The value in software comes from having staff who know how to use it, and this is ultimately down to an investment in training.
To add real benefit, users need a training solution that compliments the Prima Cloud product model, so that as the product is rapidly evolving, staff learn little and often, taking advantage of any productivity gains or new business growth features, through automation for example. It’s Training as a Service, if you will, providing continuous value to a workforce over time. These user group meetings are just one small element of a wider push to provide our users with the best possible knowledge of the system, and we would like to thank all of our customers for continuously taking all of the training opportunities on board.”
