Prima is delighted to announce the newest member of our development team, Barry Allen. We are thrilled to have Barry join us, and we are confident that his valuable expertise in creating sales focused user interfaces will greatly enhance our team’s capabilities at Prima.
With an impressive track record of over 20 years in the office supplies industry, Barry has gained extensive experience in developing applications for both Complete Office Solutions and Quality Office Supplies. His expertise and proven accomplishments make him a valuable addition to our development team at Prima. We are excited to leverage Barry’s knowledge and skills as we continue to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
I had the opportunity to chat with Baz and delve deeper into his experience and learn about his interests outside of work:
Welcome aboard, Baz! We are delighted to have you as part of the Prima team. We would love to hear what motivated you to choose Prima and what aspects of your new role ignite your excitement the most?
I am thrilled to be a part of Prima and embark on this exciting new challenge. With my previous experience in building a CRM system at Quality Office and developing a delivery management system (PoD) at Complete, I am eager to sink my teeth into new challenges and contribute to the success of this venture.
We would love to hear more about your background and journey within the Office Products industry. Please share some insights and highlights from your time working in this field.
With over two decades of experience in the office products industry since the age of 18, I have gained extensive expertise in working with and seamlessly integrating into diverse ERP systems. This extensive exposure has endowed me with a profound understanding of both the technology involved and the unique requirements of dealers.
What are you most looking forward to as you embark on this new chapter with us?
I’m really looking forward to being actively involved in the development of new solutions for Prima customers. In addition to this, I have been really impressed with Prima as a workplace. The warm reception and inclusive atmosphere created by everyone has already made me feel valued and appreciated. I am genuinely enthusiastic about joining the team and becoming an integral part of Prima’s success story.
Tell us a little more about your personal life and what you like to do outside of work
I currently live in Walsall with my fiancée and our four wonderful children. We are eagerly looking forward to beginning the exciting chapter of planning our wedding. We’re really excited about the whole journey.
When it comes to hobbies, I am an avid fan of Formula 1. I hope to get the opportunity to soon experience the atmosphere up close when I can attend one of the races.
