On Monday 15th October 2018, in a prestigious ceremony within the Courtroom of the illustrious Stationers’ Hall, Prima’s Marketing Manager, Callum Edwards was officially declared a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers.
The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers, usually known as the Stationers’ Company, is one of the livery companies of the City of London. The Stationers’ Company was formed in 1403; it received a Royal Charter in 1557 and The Hall is the 4th oldest in London.
Callum, 22, was invited to officially become a freeman after winning the 2018 Young Stationers Award for Office Products and Supplies. He has already embraced life as a Stationer and is an active and willing member of the Young Stationers committee.
Having been a regular guest at Stationers’ Hall for a number of years, Callum is delighted to officially become part of one of the City of London’s most active Livery Companies, he said:

‘It is an honour to join the Stationers’ Company and I am really proud to become a Freeman of the Company at such a young age. I look forward to attending many more brilliant events at Stationers’ Hall and learning from my fellow Freemen and Liverymen’.

Prima’s non-executive Chairman and Liveryman Mike James, who is also a Court Assistant at The Stationers Company added:

‘I am extremely proud to sponsor Callum who is a rising star of our industry. He has already showed his value to The Stationers Company with the work he has undertaken with The Young Stationers.’
