As we enter 2017, the Prima Team look back on our top 6 highlights of 2016, a year that was packed with new achievements, new developments and lots of good memories for us, our customers and our partners.
01: Our weekly training webinar’s gain momentum
In 2016 we really witnessed our customers responding positively to our new support and training strategies. The team really want to explore available channels when it comes to delivering new content, so the new social media channels such as YouTube and our dedicated @primahelp Twitter handle are changing the way we approach product training, massively for the benefit of our customers. The progress made in 2016 was a brilliant start, and we will continue to work closely with our customers on improving these services year on year.
02: We hosted our Back2Front Expo in Ireland
In October, Office Supplies Dealers from across Ireland were invited along to attend a morning of Prima user groups and training workshops, running subsequently to sessions held by our friends from Evolution Software and FusionPlus data. This was then followed by a supplier exhibition for the dealers, with 20 key suppliers in attendance. The support that we received from the suppliers and dealers leading up to the event was phenomenal, and we would like to thank each and every person that contributed to what turned out to be a great day for the Irish Office Supplies industry. Similarly to this, the positive post event feedback has encouraged us to start thinking about hosting another Back2Front Expo next year.
03: Our General Manager, Ian Buckley was clothed as a Liveryman
Ian Buckley, General Manager of Prima, was welcomed by The Master and clothed by Court assistant Mike James as a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers at the traditional Clothing ceremony on Tuesday 4th October 2016 at Stationers’ Hall in the City of London. Becoming a Liveryman of the Stationers’ Company was a real honour for Ian, to be part of an organisation that has seen our industries evolve from ancient times through to this ever-changing digital landscape is really special.
04: Collecting the Stationers’ Company Warrant in October
We were delighted to receive the Award for Excellence granted by The Stationers’ Company, also referred to as a Stationers’ Warrant, as this was another significant milestone for us. The Stationers’ Award for Excellence is an established concept developed by the Stationers Company to offer successful entrants the opportunity to have their new innovative product tested and analysed by a professional panel, to ultimately decide if the product meets all of the criteria required to be given the Stationers’ Company seal of excellence. To receive the Stationers Award for excellence was very pleasing and provided us with fresh endeavour to continue developing Prima Cloud for our customers.
05: Being awarded the BOSS Service Provider of the Year Award
We were awarded Service Provider of the Year at the BOSS Industry Awards, which were held at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on 13th October. The award itself is judged on a wide range of qualities, from originality and innovative marketing of service all the way to supply chain cost reductions or service improvements. Having been nominated for the award for three consecutive years, and narrowly missing out last year, it was a very special moment for the us to finally receive the award. The evening will go down as a very special milestone in the history of Prima Software but ultimately we have our loyal customers to thank for helping us receive this recognition.
06: Our new largest customer went live with Prima Cloud in August
JKL Solutions chose Prima Cloud to replace their previous system, Progress. Upon going live with the software, they became our largest customer, with over 25 concurrent users. We were able to offer improved automation to help stream line their business processes and JKL have also benefited from the real time integration between Prima and Evolution Software who provide their eCommerce platform. We are very proud that JKL chose Prima as their new software partner and it’s great to see the relationship thriving.
