Supplier Spotlight | A conversation with North West Tea

One of our latest additions to Prima Marketplace is North West Teas. Based in Merseyside, North West Teas supply 1000’s of national accounts with products for resale to their customer base. They  supply into Vending, Food Service, Office Supplies, Janitorial, Construction, Ships Stores, Coffee Roasters sectors as well as many more.

I caught up with Business Development Manager, Ryan Torrible to find out a little bit more about their products and services.

Tell us a little bit about your business. What do you offer? 

We are a Wholesaler of Facilicties Management products into a variety of different sectors including, obviously the Office Supplies sector. Traditionally a bulk tea and coffee wholesaler, we expanded out into over 7000 products based on the needs of our customer base. We now stock all of these lines in our purpose designed warehouse in Liverpool, and ship to anywhere in the UK on a Next Day Service. That can be to an Office Dealer or directly to their customer should they wish.

Do you offer electronic trading capabilities with Prima? If so, what would you say are the main benefits of using EDI for our Community? If not, is this something you will look to do in the future?

We don’t currently use EDI for Prima Software but our aim is to test the waters with the Marketplace and catalogue. If we get enough downloads of our catalogue and enough accounts opened to make it cost effective for us to open an EDI account, by this time next year we will!
